The NF EN 13201 standard assesses and regulates the economic impacts of night lighting. Public lighting is a priority in terms of energy consumption, so communities are now aware of the proper management of their lighting. This standard is composed of five parts, and to summarize, they define the lighting classes of all the channels (interurban, urban, and rural), themselves listed by national references, according to their use, which implies particular regulations, with, for example standards to respect to ensure good visibility to users and thus the safety of all.

With this in mind, we focus our lighting studies on two points that we consider important:

• The performance of lighting, taking into account visual comfort.
• The good management of this lighting for its optimization and cost control.

How to approach the subject of street lighting?

Many municipalities do not know exactly the cost of maintaining their lighting installations, their precise consumption, and the possible gain of a modernization of their equipment. Our intervention aims to help you define priorities in terms of investments to result in better profitability, all this by improving the visibility of your traffic lanes.

It is good to know that public lighting is the most dilapidated equipment of French municipalities. 75% of installations still use old technologies from decades ago. The consequences for municipalities : 48% of their total electricity consumption is used for street lighting! With this in mind, we intervene to bring you solutions both technically and financially.
